Ether 5 play loud, bass driven stoner rock.

Ether 5 is a four piece stoner rock band, originally formed in early 2006. It is the brain child of Daniel Christie and Andrew Budby, who were later joined by Jamie Mooney and Andrew Candlish of Child Loses Arm.

The band went through a series of major changes in 2008. Oli Jenkins joined the band on bass guitar and Chris Dawkins (Nightmares on Wax) joined the band briefly on lead guitar. By the end of 2008, Ether 5 had recruited a new lead guitarist, Leon Spencer.

The band recorded their second demo in the summer of 2009. It featured Martyn Spencer on rhythm guitar, who would later fill Leon’s boots as the new lead guitarist.
